The 2023 RAM 3500 is available in five trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn, Limited Longhorn, Laramie, and Limited. The Tradesman has standard 18-inch steel wheels, a locking tailgate, and a Class V tow hitch. The Big Horn adds chrome exterior accents, 18-inch alloy wheels, and power-adjustable, heated tow mirrors. The Laramie takes it up a notch with power-folding chrome tow mirrors, a power-sliding rear window, and a soft-opening tailgate.
Opt for the Limited Longhorn to get LED headlights, LED cargo bed lighting, spray-in bedliner, remote tailgate release, and rain-sensing wipers. The Limited adds 20-inch wheels. The 2023 RAM 3500 comes standard with a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine that delivers 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque and is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. For those who need more power, an available 6.7-liter Cummins Turbo Diesel engine delivers 420 horsepower and a staggering 1,075 pound-feet of torque. Regarding towing and hauling capabilities, the 6.4-liter V-8 provides plenty of power for all your heavy-duty towing needs, with a maximum towing capacity of up to 23,130 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of up to 4,280 pounds. The diesel engine can pull up to 37,100 pounds while hauling 4,640 pounds in the bed.
Performance
